Today We Celebrated Hunter's 8th birthday. We had so much fun we took some of his friends and some of his cousins ice skating. When we got there Josh was so good at getting everyone their skates and helping everyone onto the ice. Once we got everyone on the ice and stable my worst fear came true. One of Hunters friends from school got hit in the head by another ice skater and under his eye brow got split open. OMG! please don't say it needs stitches and go figure the next thing out of my brother in laws mouth who is an EMT is IT NEEDS STITCHES.
All I could think about was having to call his mom and tell here that not even 30 min into the party she has to come and take her son to the hospital. The next thing I could think of is, Am I liable? Thank goodness his mom was so cool about the whole thing the first thing she said to me is " He will be fine this is not the first time he has had to get stitches this will make it around the 16th time". That made me fill better but wait a minute did she just say what I think she said 16 times. So finally we got George (Hunters friend) on his way. I got a phone call a little while later from Georges mom she said that they did not have to give him stitches they just glued it. Thank Heavens. Here is Hunter with Josh reading a card
